This is a game that has had its teething problems in the past, appearing and then vanishing from the App Store, but things are now looking much better for EA and The Simpsons. The basic premise of the game is to rebuild the iconic town of Springfield in the wake of a nuclear meltdown, and before you ask, yes, it was caused by Sector 7-G's hapless safety inspector.
There is a very useful tutorial that gets you started, guiding you through the first five levels of activity, to ensure you get the hang of the control layout and various in-game building and expanding options. This includes introducing a social aspect of the game where you can earn cash and XP by adding friends and visiting their own version of Springfield. It's a clever way to boost interactivity between players, and serves as a useful way to boost your own score.
